In that case, I suspect he did what a lot of French senior officers (especially the light cavalry types) did and designed his own. Possibly getting some tips from Murat.

I strongly suspect that the figure IS of Murat and that some model-manufacturer along the line confused Marulaz with Murat... :hair:
