Iain
Two reasons.
One. I'm Scottish &, hence, careful with the siller.
Two. Two boxes of figures essentially not needed, would provide 2 units....& 42 unused figures. It's the lack of command figures (or a reasonable substitute: metal or plastic) that stymies the Zvesda set.

(BTW "careful" not "mean". Only the denizens of Aberdeen are truly parsimonious.
eg In a recent letter to an English newspaper, an Aberdonian wrote, "If you print any more jokes about mean Scotsmen I shall stop borrowing your paper."
Two good points well made. I'd completely forgotten about the lack of command group issue.

I’m confused, there is loads of command in the set for Grenadiers?
And what’s wrong with two units of Grenadiers? Fred fielded 10 battalions of the shiny lovelies at Zorndorf!
Buy more! And no Flags!

Or.... get them from Pendraken and stop this silliness.
