You’ve got a cracking game lined up! I’m playing CoC for the first time in over a year!

which ones are you playing LT? I have Big Rich in the morning with Gauls, Gauls Gauls (Infamy) and then Dom and the Bavarian boys with the Leopard Route in the afternoon (Arnhem CoC) - both should be cracking games. I even have a plan for the morning, which will inevitably become a disaster...

Just finished our "Hello Sailor" game and it appears my dice rolling is just as bad with the computerised "Dice Roller" on Discord, as it is with real dice. Finished off a horrendous run of rolls as the Italian navy with a point blank broadside miss from a destroyer, and a point blank torpedo miss from a convoy escort. Interesting game, though - needs a bit of work, but the basics are there and it's entertaining.

Second game - Coastal Patrol. Needed someone knowledgeable to show me how to play this properly and well and truly got that! Excellent game. Failed to live up (down?) to my name and didn't get wrecked once. Mind, there's still the Virtual Pub later, of course......

And last, but by no means least, a bit "Ta muchly!!!" to Jeremy for organising this - it ran very smoothly and was a tremendous day all round. Cheers, J! :clappy: :clappy: :clappy: :clappy: :clappy:

Yep. I had two great games though the Discord channels are very flaky.

Hope the hangover’s not too bad this morning Jeremy.
Also hope you’re getting a decent kick back from Zoom - you’ve made quite a few conversions to virtual figure gaming!

Glad you all enjoyed it! No hangover this morning, I was sensible and left them at midnight. I spoke at length to Brian last night about that Coastal Patrol game, I thought turning the lights off for a night game and using localized light sources only when seen was a touch of sheer brilliance!

I had two awesome games. The afternoon game of CoC was probably the best I’ve ever played. Romanian armour and Russian infantry going toe to toe with a rag tag mix of German and Hungarians in 6x4 of city. At the end of the game, the table was littered with burning tanks. Apparently based on a real life battle as well. My little R1 dodged two Panzerfaust strikes and my TACAM R-2 effectively neutralized their Tiger before transforming himself into a ball of flame.

😂😂 I wish! Though someone did say that at one point in the day, we had 120+ Lardies on the server.

There will be a VL5. Just not sure when, comping up to a hectic period work-wise.
