Not long now. Time to think shopping lists, though this show is the one where I often allow myself an impulse purchase.

Changed my mind about York for that very reason, my ‘butterfly’ effect is in full force and the last thing I need right now is impulse purchases and the temptation of a show. Despite the attractions of York, I think I should knuckle down and spend the weekend hunched over a paintbrush.
I get lockdown, but I get up again.

Go to the show but leave all your cards and money with me and I'll police you're purchases for you... I'll make sure YOU don't start any new projects...

Andy, you’re a true mate, that’s very generous of you. My wallet’s in the post.

I have every intention of buying anything and everything that tickles me fancy without a moments hesitation or thoughts about cost or lead piles.

Past experience tells me that this approach is guaranteed to see me going home empty handed.

That said, there is nothing more miserable than travelling home from a show with nothing in your rucksack to pore over.

Still, at least you have one of the rucksacks that doesn't amputate limbs, or castrate someone, if you turn around too quickly.

If I've told you once I've told you a million times, don't exaggerate.

Books! I'm into my bookywooks at the minute so I'll be buying those if anything. I tend to buy scenery at Vappa too, not far to take it home if its bulky!
