Re: HMS Priapus' Flying Bridge
Many thanks for the compliments.
In progress shot: Two more pike blocks to go, before I move onto the musketeers and grenadiers. Those 9 stands are the entirety of my Swedish foot for now. I'm just going to do the example forces for these and the Saxon-Poles from the With Talon and Claw at this point, and then expand from there. Ultimately I think I'd like to model 4 bases per battalion, but the standard for WTC is 3, so good enough for the time being. Then on to the Saxon dragoons and heavies, I think.

Really liking those. The colours 'pop'. Is it three bases per battalion or per brigade? 3 to a battalion is a lot.

Thanks, as always, gentlemen.
Swedish pike done. Now on to the sleeves...
And did a little basing work on my Paras. On the hunt for some micro-scenics or need to scratch build some odds and ends to give it that more "lived-in" look

I recommend Leven Miniatures and Perfect Six for accessories.

Re: HMS Priapus' Flying Bridge
Thanks all - And thanks, Commander, for the suggestions on 6mm scenics. I ended up ordering a bunch of combat detritus and so forth from Perfect Six. I had been looking for the proverbial Lebowski 'rug that ties the room together'' and their offerings look to fit the bill.
Meanwhile, slow but steady progress on filling out the pike blocks and some Saxon Dragoons, first of 6 stands, to break up the repetitive nature of the other task at hand.

Three per BN, I suppose I’m a glutton for 6mm figures on a 28mm sized stand.Shahbahraz wrote: ↑Mon Apr 27, 2020 7:05 am Really liking those. The colours 'pop'. Is it three bases per battalion or per brigade? 3 to a battalion is a lot.
Cavalry is 1 SQN per base, about 12 of those for the Saxons, more for the Swedes...
