Union Artillery limbers

Post by Penda »

A couple of limber bases reworked with added figures to place behind two Union batteries deployed for action. Hardly exciting but I hope they'll improve the look of games here in GHQ. As ever, more on the blog if you're interested Tim - seems noone else is.

Very nice. I have a couple of vignette pieces like that for my artillery. I feel I ought do limbers and teams for the batteries, but the cost and effort is very off putting especially when they are essentially "non combat" items. I could run to a couple more limber/caisson vignettes I suppose. Anyway, good effort, they will look grand on the table. The 14th Brooklyn looked good too. Are they the Sash and Sabre figures?
Rules? You ask me what rules do I use. No, I don't do rules.

Great stuff - limbers and vignettes always add something to a table I think

"The 14th Brooklyn looked good too. Are they the Sash and Sabre figures?" Well spotted Tim! They were painted by Phil for me earlier in the year.
