Slow but steady progress on my Baron's War project. Here's a batch of Gilbertine monks.

Second from the left, has Brian Blessed taken holy orders?

In his case, I think it would be more a case of giving them.

Splendid work, HMSP.

Thanks much, gentlemen. Slow but steady progress continues on the Baron's War figures (from Footsore).

Oh my goodness. Those are bloody lovely. I am going to study those closely (and enviously).

If you don't mind me asking, how long did it take you to paint these?

Must have missed these, very good painting, well done. Who makes the monks?

Thanks for the props, my dudes.
Shah - not as long as you might think. I’ve been using Scale 75 fantasy. A fair bit and it’s a gel-based acrylic, so blending goes pretty quickly. That said, I worked on these from time to time between other figures, so may be about 1.5-2.5 hours per figure in little 10 min increments.

Peeler - Not sure what the guy’s name is who made these, but I think he works for Andy Hobday or perhaps reports to someone else at Footsore. ;)

Interesting, I've had a good close look at those, and I might try reproducing some of the techniques I can identify. There looks to be a bit more blending than I use, so that's something for me to work on. Thanks for sharing those.
