'summer'? sorry, no such word in the lexicon here. There's plenty of sunshine, but we're a long way North. (A friend who is a scientist with Australian fisheries was astonished to find I live closer to the North Pole than Macquarie Island is to the South.) Macquarie is considered an Antarctic station :)
