The Combat of Strehla 1760: A Scenario for 'Tricorn'

To celebrate finishing my Reichsarmee, our Big Game Saturday game for April is going to be the Combat of Strehla, which features most of said Reichsarmee. They're clearly doomed (being freshly-painted AND a bit rubbish), but it should still be fun... Here's the scenario:

I think they'd do better if their eagles were facing the right way...

Yeah, looking forward to it. I was wondering what the odds were of the main corps making a successful frontal assault on the entrenchments and decided it was suicide. There's A LOT of heavy artillery there! The Durren-Berg is definitely the key.

Cheers matey. I just use MS Powerpoint. The drawing tools are very simple to use and the way you can group objects, 'layer' objects and align them using grids and guides is really useful. It's also ready-to-go on my computer, so I don't have to bother with a specialist graphics package.

Once you've drawn a map on Powerpoint, highlight everything, right-click and 'save as picture' to reproduce it as a graphics file for using on the blog or forums.

Not only do I have Powerpoint, but I also have a wife who knows how to use it.

I did some half reasonable maps on MS Paint, but it's a long way from ideal. I'll have a bit of a practice with PP.

I feel your pain. I had a very good teacher when I HAD to learn how to use Powerpoint for teaching The Minions.

Then I discovered that if I could draw diagrams and flowcharts for lectures, I could also draw those graphical orders of battle and then moved on to maps.
