I'd just like to say, that thanks to you all a most splendid weekend was had. As always you all conducted yourselves (at the Wargames table) as the absolute gentlemen you are.
I would like to thank all of you who contributed with mats and terrain pieces, the tables looked spectacular and as Colonial as possible. All the troops really looked the part, and it was a joy to play the games. Once again, an Ayton to remember.
And on an unrelated note.......................................Iain.

Rules? You ask me what rules do I use. No, I don't do rules.

Packing up on Sunday was, for unavailable reasons, rather brisk and meant we didn't have a chance to properly thank Gary and Tim for organising the main games over the weekend.
Well done chaps, it was a splendid weekend of gaming. Ta muchly.

Fair point EB - I also felt that I didn't thank Gary and Tim for organising the games this year unlike others in previous years (well like last year, the only other one I attended) - no bottle of rot gut presented..
Thank you Gents - I'll buy you a beer when I next see you!

Flip, that's my fault, I totally forgot the bottle award & asking if we'd all had a good weekend, my slapologies.
But, thank you all for yet another corking weekend, good gaming in pleasant company. Until next time, I miss you all.
