I’m going to make an Essex Doll. Every time he cheats, I’ll stick a pin in it. I’m going to need more pins, aren’t I?

Just buy a ford fiesta with white hubcaps and hit it with an 'ammer each time.

My workbench is currently a computer screen where I am designing a 20mm Wild West Town to be made from MDF.

That sounds ambitious Fredd. Forgive my stupidity but how are you cutting the MDF?

Clever idea on the shields Ken
Thanks Dave, there ain't no way I could paint details on. I did read Simons excellent tutorial on painting hoplite shields but even before my shaky hands set in I couldn't have done it. So it's transfers or embossed/raised details for me.

Back in the day I bought a daft amount of wild west building blanks in foam card from Pictors Studios in the USA. I never used them as they were a little small for 28mm, although I have cannibalised a few for other buildings. If they might be of any use you're welcome to them. (I am not sure if they would be too big or not given scale creep!)
