Ran the game yesterday, Gary took the French Chris and Mark took the Prussians.
The game played well apart from a few hiccups mainly the Prussian players not reading the rules properly and carrying out several actions calling it one movement.
My fault for taking my eye off the ball whilst interacting with non players and not running a tighter ship.
The French were caught on the back foot as Chris was a fast paced player and moved his troops rapidly into blocking positions.
Overall the game played well, for the Kenilworth game I need to tweak a few things but nothing major.
A big thank you to Gary, Chris and Mark for testing this scenario, well done for your gamesmanship and patience with the minor hiccups.
Huge thanks to Steve for his help and support during the day, without him the game would not have run as smoothly as it did.
The Prussians won the game destroyed 5 French / Austrian regiments and captured the supply wagons.
Lesson learnt and self constructive criticism notes.
1. Make sure you control the understanding of the rules.
2. Place 3 entry points for French / Austria reserves D6 for entry 1, 2 = d 3, 4 = E 5, 6 = F
3. Prussians entry points ensure they are not East or South East of the river.
4. Movement = 1 action, advance or retire or wheel or change formation or about face.
5. Ensure that the French player understands that speed is of the essence.

Spectacular game, Willz.
I'd use a bold, 36 point font for that, mate. Not that many players will remember it in the heat of the game.....4. Movement = 1 action, advance or retire or wheel or change formation or about face.
If "The System" is the answer, who asked such a bloody stupid question?
