Partizan Wargames show Report, May 21st, 2023

Post by Atheling_2006 »

Hi,

What follows is a show report for Partizan a few weeks ago. It's taken a while to write up for reasons that should become obvious if you give it a read/look through.

Nice blog, nice pics, and well done for making it.

As someone who struggles with crowds, shows, days out etc. I can only sympathise and hope it did not take too long to recover afterwards.

Thanks. I was more or less OK for the whole show as I managed to keep my mind busy by waffling onto whomever came my way!

An excellent report and some really nice photos. I agree- that saw mill was really special. Well done on getting to the show*, too. That was a guts move and I hope it didn't leave you feeling too strung out, mate.

*Few show games here get anywhere near that standard of presentation.

Well done, Athers! Let's keep hibernation where it belongs - in a bear cave in the depths of winter!

Has anyone else noticed that the Boondock Sayntes (a) always put on an Anglo-Indian game that always features a large river; and (b) given what large rivers in India typically end up becoming, that they always seem to be placed next to the public toilets, presumably to give the game that extra authentic scent.

Thanks mate. I can confidently report that the hibernation is slowly being eroded :moredrink:

Partizan and The Other Partizan are the best for quality in just about all the games. It is the showcase show for the UK IMHO.
