I've sent him a quick email explaining you want French Rev limbers and teams, with four horses instead of six (was that right?). I'll see what he says.

Thank you – it's a bit more involved. I need five Napoleonic French Foot artillery teams so leaving out the middle pair of horses and the rider to give a four horse team plus limber. Then I need six British limbers in the same format to make foot artillery teams with four horses.

The Rev war French I was thinking of using for the Spanish since they are in Bicornes – from our other conversation two of those sets would be perfect. I know that's a fair pile. Funds can be moved as necessary. Much appreciated – let's see what Nic says.

Unfortunately, the arrival of my copy has coincided with a failed waste pipe from the downstairs toilet. Even more unfortunately, said waste pipe runs up and over the ceiling of the toilet, then across the central hallway, and the kitchen, before exiting to the outside of the house. All of which necessitates pulling up the floor coverings and floorboards on the landing, and possibly also in the upstairs bathroom. Oh, what a busy boy I'm going to be today......

Ouch, sounds like a mascerator toilet...those are always trouble. We have one which was here when we moved in. I've pretty much banned anyone from using it unless there is an utmost emergency as just looking at them the wrong way seems to cause a blockage!

My commiserations - on a positive note, more compost for the vegetable patch?

My copy of WAT just arrived, however I'm forbidden from opening it until the prep for Salute is finished.
I get lockdown, but I get up again.

Welll.ll.ll.lll..... it can’t hurt to sneak a peek while I’m waiting for things to dry, can it?

Actually just had a second email from TFL noting that the first pdf sent had an error and the corrected version is attached, so I’d give it 24 hours before printing off any key bits.

it also allows you to choose which version of the rules to use at any given moment. Not that you'd do that....
