Jamie hasn't said yes or no yet. Who else is a likely candidate?

Unfortunately, I'm going to have to duck-out of the festivities for this November, as we'll not long since have had our 2nd kid drop.

Hope you all have a cracking time though 😀

So the AirBnB (aka Vaseline Villa) will be completely empty? Shame.....

That's 8 definitely coming,
Peeler, TimH, Iain, Gary, Andy, timW, Paul, Buff...
Seven not coming,
Simon, baron, Jeremy, Ken, Alex, Pemble, Jamie.

Missing Norman, Fred, Martin, Dave Hall, Purple replies - anyone else? 🤔

The VH is currently £450, could argue for a discount, or be cheaper if we hire just the main hall, that leaves the possibility of someone using the smaller back room, but that's unlikely.

I think Gary wants to do Culloden, which would take up 4 of us probably over the two days.

The Dark Age "Atune" game can accommodate 4 players so that might fit nicely, but what of Tim H's "what a cowboy" game for Sunday?

Culloden is probably a one day game but realistically it needs at least 3 players per side, plus probably me to umpire. It might be better to save it for a 'full' Ayton, or schedule a separate weekend.

Happy to bring some Jocks for a smaller game though, if people want to play that.
Why us? Cos we're 'ere lad, nobody else.

Although I've previously confirmed that I can't make this one, Peeler has kindly offered to help me down the stairs if I don't post a confirmation here. I therefore hereby confirm my non-attendance. Again.

I'm sure it'll be a great event, hope everyone has a great time!

I've spoken to Andrea at the Lodge.

We can definitely have exclusive use of the dinning area (the bit that can be shut off from the public) on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday between 10:30 and 19:00. Further flexibility may be possible depending on how many bookings the hotel has. They may, for instance, be able to cater for all the breakfast covers in the conservatory, giving us earlier access. In the event that we'd have to pack away each night, we can store our stuff in the dinning room, provided it's put neatly under tables and out of sight (the hotel will provide table cloths for that purpose).

I think there's easily room for two 8' x 5' (approx) tables in this room.

The saloon bar thing is also available to use. This is a long way off being secure, so that would have to be packed up after each game and the stuff stored someplace else.

I'm not sure how much room there is in this area - your memories are probably better than mine.

There is no charge but, if we use the hotel for our games I would feel obliged to repay their hospitality by eating in the hotel restaurant of an evening and spending some money each night in the bar. I think that's only fair, but that's just a personal thing.
