Sorry, I'm going to be missing this, it's shaping up into a very nice weekend. Hope you all have fun.

I'll happily put on a DBN, esp for Martin

Thanks Peeler, great

Re: Ayton November 2023
Let's see where we are re games..........
Friday: Tim and I have that covered. A shiny ACW game for all-comers as they arrive, if they want to play of course. Should anyone want to put on a second game, let us know so we can leave space for you in the room.
On Saturday and Sunday there's room for two tables in the restaurant area - we don't have to use two tables of course! I'm assuming that we don't use the saloon bar/nook, although it has been offered. The lighting isn't great, so use it at your peril.
Saturday: One table is available if required, Paul having claimed the other one for the whole day for his Dark Ages game.
Sunday: Two tables available as required.
Possible games: Peeler will be doing a DBN with Martin, but I don't know when. Tim H has mentioned 54mm What a Cowboy and Sci Fi Laserburn games. Martin has offered a Napoleonic game. Anything I've missed or hasn't yet been offered?
Can those attending please start to express interests in games and, if putting on a game, say when you want a table.

Re: Ayton November 2023
As I said, possibly a sci fi bash, tongue in cheek retro (ish) for Saturday, and I'm quite happy to do some What a Cowboy shenanigans on Sunday for those interested.
Rules? You ask me what rules do I use. No, I don't do rules.
Re: Ayton November 2023
My Saturday Dark Ages may well be two smaller games (on small tables) in the morning and one bigger game in the afternoon on a full sized table, all depending on numbers. It will be based around the village of Atune, as mentioned in the Domesday book, and using local characters of the period....at least in name.
I would love to take part in some "what a cowboy" on Sunday and paint up and use a couple of the 54mm i have lying around if OK?

I think I have enough figures Paul, but if you want to paint a couple for yourself that is ok with me.Paul wrote: ↑Mon Jul 24, 2023 11:02 pm My Saturday Dark Ages may well be two smaller games (on small tables) in the morning and one bigger game in the afternoon on a full sized table, all depending on numbers. ...and the Utterly Hideous? I believe I have those - in several scales and many periods.....
