Spanish colonial battalion Del Rey ? 1760 -80

Post by Willz the Wargamer »

Finished this unit today Spanish colonial battalion Del Rey ? 1760 -80, I could only find 2 pictures and no other data of this battalion so I am not 100% certain about its history.
However I liked the uniform, so it has been drafted into the Tiberian army.
Figures are AWI Spencer Smith hard plastic, with the backpack carved to back date them.
Flags by David at "Not by Appointment" one of his Spanish regiment offerings, as it was the nearest to the Del Ray flag.

More tasty figures to brighten my otherwise dull day. Thanks, Will.

Very nice, mate. Finding information on some units is harder than winning the lottery.
If "The System" is the answer, who asked such a bloody stupid question?

Cheers for all your kind comments and support.

David has been kind enough to make some flags for the Del Ray regiment and posted them on the Fife and Drum forum.
