A couple of shots from a very small run out of “A Bash of Shields” to try to break the rules before I upscale it for more units.
This was born of the desire to use Dark Ages figures collected over around forty years, and based for different systems, without rebasing.

it was the first proper run out and enabled me to change a rule that didn't work properly and clarify another couple in my mind.
It was a very basic game with only a couple of special characters (Banner bearer and Champion for the Strathclyde Welsh) but I still kept forgetting to use the Champions rerolls :D

A couple of 54mm "Cowboys".
95% painted using Contrast paints meant these were knocked out in just over an hour each :)
