Fleet for Louisbourg 1747

[Willz the Wargamer]

Been working on these ships and barges for the last week, generic gange of flag can be French or British.
These are light sloops, need to paint some more generic ships crew and put them on smaller bases.
I don't know if I go with the heavy cannons or the lighter ships cannons?

Great work. The smaller guns look a little too small in comparison. Not excessively so and probably not noticed in a game.
Personally, I'd use the smaller guns in the bow of the armed transport / gun boats.

Yes I was thinking of the smaller ones in the bows.
Now all I need is some simple and fast 18th century naval rules, of one page any ideas.

I had my own sea adventure last night we had a flood when a sink tap valve blew out and flooded the bathroom, hallway and front room,
shorting out the electricity. Talk about being at sea and damage control .
still apart from damp patches on the front room and hallway ceiling no major damage done,
the insurance sent out an emergency plumber he fixed the problem and he reset the electrical trip switches so we have power and
all the food won't spoil.
We have water and power, so no hotel.
