Have fun storming the castle

Post by ochoin »

The annual train show hits Brisbane in two weeks.
As usual, we're putting on a demo wargame. This year it's Lion Rampant medieval "skirmish". Tonight, we ran a final game to make sure we know the rules well. It was a "Bloodbath" scenario with 3 armies pitted against each other. Highlight was when my retinue leader called a duel on one of my opponents' leader. It ended in a draw but still, tense!

Brilliant work, Donald.
If "The System" is the answer, who asked such a bloody stupid question?

Thanks. The invitation to be part of the Show game of LR (25/26 Nov) still stands.
There's a retinue with your name on it.....

Keep the buggers away from anything valuable, mate. You know what us mongrel Scots-Irish can be like. Thanks for the invitation, Donald, but I won't be able to get up there this time. I didn't even get up for 8/9's 50th Birthday celebrations.

That sounds a bit sinister.....

Not mine, VB. My pal Dave is responsible. It's a Zvesda model. I'd imagine you can still get one but it may be hard & expensive.
