For some bizarre reason I seem to be recreating the Boleyn Regiment from EBs Gateway Alliance as part of my 6mm ImagiNation project.

You may have noticed the Boleyns in the painted stuff I sold you, but with a non standard flag...your flags are nicer

Yep. Painted extra command and done both battalions. Hopefully get them finished today.

Can't remember which blue I used though.

I shouldn't have to keep explaining this .......the Gateway Infantry and artillery are, on the whole, reliable and have had their moments of excellence. The cavalry on the other hand have let me down, they've let other people down but, most of all, they've let themselves down. Constantly. Only Gary has enjoyed a degree of excellence with them.......but Gary's a military genius.

Is Hull Red a rouge pigment that is particularly grim, bleak and depressing ?

Yes. It's what drew me to it..

So I assume the other colour must be 'Goole Blue'? About the only place more grim, bleak and depressing.
