Thanks Paul. The thread has now irritatingly turned the page so reposting the question....
OK i know i've asked this before but looking to finalise a roll call for Lace Hulk. Provisionally running on Friday afternoon and again on Saturday morning. Hopefully this can allow people to slot into other games on Sat PM.
Each game can have 4 players (plus me as umpire)
Force composition guidelines will be firmed up once we have established games & players but for now assume you'll need 10 individually based figures. Probably a Captain, Sergeant, a Specialist and 7 grunts. The period is 18thC imaginations. Fill your boots with how you want to interpret that. I can lend figures if needed.
Rules will be based on Legends of the High Seas with a bit of tweaking, If you dont have them then don't worry - Iain will provide us with a QRS
More to follow but for now let me know for definite if you are in and if preferences on which slot to play in (more volunteers for the Friday slot would be appreciated if possible)

Re: Lace Hulk: Now Coming Ayton 2024
I'm in. Happy to do the Friday. Or Saturday. Or both.
Re: Lace Hulk: Now Coming Ayton 2024
Same....Friday PM I can definitely do, and put down for the Sat AM too, but if others want to do the Saturday AM, I'll happily step aside

Current responses as follows. If you haven't confirmed on this thread then you are currently in the EFL Div 2
If everyone confirms then we have enough for 2 games and just need to see if we can manage between Fri and Sat

Re: Lace Hulk: Now Coming Ayton 2024
I've been holding off for a while, as there may be some problems for me with the Ayton dates (PM sent). Probably best to cancel for this year, unfortunately, which is a real shame as I was very much looking forward to it and this game in particular.

Re: Lace Hulk: Now Coming Ayton 2024
We've got confirmation from Ken so now have 2 viable games. Please can everyone confirm they are ok with the game slot shown above ?
For the Friday players i am tempted to run round at my place (Chez GM)because it means i don't have to transport the scenery twice. I'll provide some scran/drinks. I'll try to endeavour to get that old man's club/public library feel so that it captures the Lodge atmosphere properly. Please can you confirm that this is ok with you ? (i can provide a lift for those already over at Ayton if it helps). Kick off time to be arranged nearer the day
Re: Lace Hulk: Now Coming Ayton 2024
You can add me for friday too please...unless anyone else is looking to get in and room is an issue.
....two questions, what can a "specialist" be equipped with and is the friday game at chez GM or the lodge?
