Who can understand mumbling Scots anyway, Willz?
Nice regiment, mate.

If "The System" is the answer, who asked such a bloody stupid question?

So another BBC comedy with an implanted copper mangling the local dialect.....Willz the Wargamer wrote: ↑Fri Apr 19, 2024 11:15 am Ah was not sure if I spelled it correctly, should have looked on one of the recordings and got the spoiling correct.

On a similar theme, the last Hiberno-Norse invasion of England left Dublin (originally Dubh Lin - Black Pond or Pool) and landed on the coast of Lancashire. Would anyone like to guess where? They did very well right up to the point that their leader had the brilliant idea of marching across The Pennines in the middle of winter.
(Sorry for the Thread Hijack - once we are safely in Cuba I shall send you all home. Honest!)

No worries Baron, that's the best thing about the forum the conversions, enlightenment and the direction it all travels.BaronVonWreckedoften wrote: ↑Fri Apr 19, 2024 2:52 pmOn a similar theme, the last Hiberno-Norse invasion of England left Dublin (originally Dubh Lin - Black Pond or Pool) and landed on the coast of Lancashire. Re: Lochdubh Militia
Anyway today I retired and was going to work up until the 26th of april, however I found out this morning I was owed 30 hours holiday and as
I only work 12 hours a week. I thought I would finish this morning a 1000, so no more work and 18 hours of extra pay next friday on payday.
Winner winner chicken dinner as they say.
My bus pass is approved and is in the post so I can start planning my trips to wargame shows by free bus travel.
