Splice the mainbrace, surely? (Much more classy.)
We are having chicken for supper but as the sun is over the yardarm I feel a Asbach brandy is long overdue followed by a snifter of red wine.

Willz the Wargamer wrote: Fri Apr 19, 2024 3:24 pm Anyway today I retired and was going to work up until the 26th of april, however I found out this morning I was owed 30 hours holiday and as I only work 12 hours a week. I thought I would finish this morning a 1000, so no more work and 18 hours of extra pay next friday on payday.

My bus pass is approved and is in the post so I can start planning my trips to wargame shows by free bus travel.

Congratulations, mate, on becoming an official Useless Old Fart. Without the shackles of employment can I expect to see the rest of the Reichsarmee assembled and painted- probably by Friday?

Quick question - are you going for the traditional pronunciation (Lock-dove) or the modern version (Lock-doo)?
