The Lodge is cashless so card payments only there.
I knew there was something evil & satanic about that place.

All booked & sorted. Could y'all bring loads of hard cash to pay for the hall & the forge feed please. I think the lodge might be ok with paying seperately by card or cash. Look forward to seeing you all. Well, most of you anyway
How much is the hall btw, or wont you know until a headcount?

Some have said they'd preferred to eat out twice at the Forge rather than the Lodge? What do you think ....

I'd have to admit that some of the Lodge's offerings were quite bleak. For me though, I'd make a choice based on the menus current at the time.

The lodge meal was one of the poorest I've had at Ayton. I'd prefer to eat somewhere else.
I find the forge much improved nowadays in quality, options and atmosphere

It's a shame as we've had some good meals at the Lodge. I'd like to support them by eating there if they are providing the room etc. for free but I'd want a better meal really...
Though we probably spend a fair bit at the bar anyway...
