Last night I drove over to Modbury about 6 miles away as a new wargame club is in the process of being set up.
Called the Modbury Masters meets at the "White Hart hotel assembly rooms Modbury"
Gerry who runs this shop https://www.toysoldieremporium.com/ is organising the club.
January next year will be the first official meeting forming a committee, chairman, treasurer.
I took along my Cuba 1762 game.
Gerry took on the British and I took on the Spanish.
The British grenadiers got ashore with minimum losses and stormed the fort, the British offshore ships
shelled the fort and the shore batteries. I had my Pardo battions attack the British but sadly they came off the worst.
Note to shelf do not advance troops from cover into the guns of offshore ships doh1.
An overwhelming victory for the British, though I only had space to put up half the game.
Willz.

That looks awesome Willz - well done for getting it sorted for a successful run out.
Them Spanish certainly don't like it up 'em!

Cheers for your kind comments and support chaps.
I was worried about shore to barge boats fire, was it too powerful or too weak but it appears to work well.
2D6 from shore batteries and fort at target and 1D6 for the defender in the barge/boat.
I tried to use combined fire from 2 cannons at one target but at the chance of rolling 24 against
the potential snake eyes roll was too powerful.
So my idea is to combine fire from guns that must be within 12 inches of each other roll 3d6 will work better,
Instead of 4D6.
