I'm not familiar with WAB, but the tweaks you suggested for the Romans were interesting. Relieving the first line isn't possible in most of the rules I've played. That's a very impressive game, mate, and some very nice figures (the old farts with white hair excluded ).

To be honest, after listening to one particular Goldsworthy lecture online I'm not convinced that they fought in that manner wither, but I'm considerably outnumbered in m y local and national group of gamers but I'm happy to go along with it.

It will be interesting anyway.
