I'll check, she did tell me, but I wasn't really that interested; I have a feeling it is more the outskirts of Perth - she went to the Kelpie exhibit last time she was up there. Whereabouts was your castle and can they visit it (once the snow's gone, obviously!)?
Garth House at Fortingall (Home of the oldest living thing at least in europe, possibly the world!), near to Aberfeldy in between Lochs Tay and Rannoch. It's a late Georgian Scottish Gothic Mansion/castle.
Sadly as it's in Private ownership you can't do more than a dive by from a distance.
