No, I had figures left over. May as well make a unit out of them.
Then on to Cossacks and artillery

Someone designed a bunch of figures playing Airfix Charades? Cool.

Bought/acquired at Partizan (and only all just unboxed and recorded):
- a Sharp Practice 2 Brunswick all-Perry Peninsula force (6 x 8 "line", 2 x 6 skirmishers, many officers and sergeants);
- the beginnings of a Sharp Practice 2 all-Perry Bavarian force (so far, 2 x 8 "line", 1 x 6 skirmishers, 1x 6 riflemen, 2 light artillery guns with full limber teams and a wurst caisson, and a shedload of officers and sergeants);
- additions to my Perry SAGA2 Norman force (3 x 4 hearthguard with spears, both mounted and foot versions)
- five packs of Norman archers (2 Perry (x 6), 1 Warlord (x 12), and two Footsore (x 4) with only the Perry packs duplicating).
- and a Bad Squiddo Dark Age kickstarter pledge (10 units of stroppy women with swords, axes, spears and other nastiness @ 20% discount).

Almost - actually payment for an article that should be up on the Perry website in the next month or so (just being checked / updated by an American mate).

Wow. Quite a list. I look forward to reading the article. Don't forget to give us the heads up.

Turn them into one of the numerous short lived "Legions" used in the SYW. Uniform details are scanty so you can get away with a lot.

Taking a break from shinies to paint up a new 6mm Horizon Wars army. Going desert this time with Brigade Models Neo-soviet armour and aircraft, GZG ESU troops for the infantry and a couple or four Battletech mechs. So far I have a Catapult and I am deliberating over the rest.
