Ayton 2018, remind me again..

Post by tim.w »

When is it again? I've been wrong before and starting to plan my 2018 now.

Who's coming this year?

Should we arange our own sandwhiches this time? As much as I like the popcorn prawns it might be better to just get a sarnie from the garage?

Strange you should say that, I was going to have the Veggie option as it looked more interesting than ours. I'm happy to shop or bring my own, although Peeler may be looking for a new supplier.

I wasn't that impressed with the fodder last time, and it weren't cheap either. I was thinking of a Sainsbury selection, they do trays of sandwiches etc. Or we could all just troop round to the local Spar for their delights, whichever anyone wants, I don't mind.

I've nothing against the quality and I'm happy with what I've been given. I'm just concerned about the quantity of what we're eating over the weekend. I couldn't face the evening meal on the last Sunday.

It was a bit like how I felt after the ‘starters’ that Gary ordered on Saturday night!

A meal in themselves. That was a splendid evening in all respects.

Given the snacks available during the day anyway and the often epic evening meals I'm not sure a large lunch is essential. Might need a little planning re my dietary needs but I'm sure I can bring some bits if the Spar's vegan counter is low on stock that weekend...
