Yes, I was looking for Minifigs Brunswickers (in long coats).

Well, I never promised not to expand existing projects did I? After a month of great restraint (the credit card bill was only £21) and skipping Phalanx I sold four hobbits for £11.50. Today I celebrated by buying 45 Pulp/VBCW figures for £30. Mike Siggins is having a clearout.

Pyrits!
No, I don't like Pyrits, won't buy pyrits.
There are some good subbies in 6mm and you can have ships at the same scale.

The VBCW stuff arrived today, more than happy with them. The types divide up pretty well into usable units. One bunch are partisans wearing berets but as there is also a padre in uniform and a beret with a cross on it they can be the Anglican League. There's a mix of toffs, gamekeepers and IRA who can form Baron Derwent's Loyal Dissenters (Actually I have no idea who Derwent would have supported, he was a Liberal politician.), the rest can beef up the East Yorks Motor Services militia. About the only one that won't fit in is the guy in the Stahlhelm.

That's the great thing about Liberals - they'll stand for pretty much anything.

An ex-PoW perhaps, or some bloke wearing a WW1 souvenir? Could be his own, could be his dad's.

My commander is an Toff old codger wearing one. My story is he took of forcibly off a filthy Hun during the Great War.

Especially if formerly being used as a flower pot and not properly cleaned before resuming its military career.
