The way my body's falling apart at the moment I'm not convinced i'll make next week!
Never let trivia like a few missing and failing bits worry you. I was written off by the mineral industry five years ago; I have just completed a month in the most demanding environment on earth. As I said to a container ship captain who had lost his foot: "There is no point getting depressed;l you must be too busy fighting to even think about that".
I'm currently in two minds if i'd have been better off without a limb! Knackered cruciate on one knee, broken patella on the other and broken scaphoid in my right wrist! Then there's all the really nasty stuff... :D

I have at least an Imperial Ton of Dark Ages stuff from 6mm up to 28mm but...well...these are shiny and you can never have enough :)
Yes, I said that and then bought all LT’s Footsore Saxons
And are they painted yet?

No! I’m a PROPER wargamer! I buy stuff and don’t paint them for years!

Just ordered a load of Charlie Foxtrot bases for my SP2 Brunswickers - 1p-sized holes for the "line" troops and 2p-sized holes for the skirmishers - and some pantiled walls, just to see what they are like (and how good I am at making/terraining them). These to be collected at Bovington next Sunday.

Also considering a dozen or so of these little laddies from Supreme Littleness Designs (in Edinburgh, Mr LT!!!), which will allow the command figures to be at the same height as the wank-and-smile:-

Saw their stuff at Deep Fried Lard, very nice it looked to. Quite tempted by their desert fort in the Islamic range.

Today's purchases at Gauntlet were fairly light. I bought a 4x4 for Kumbayah and a delivery van for the VBCW game along with some 18mm Dareally Age buildings from Baggage Train for a Warmaster game in 11 days time.
I know when to go out
I know when to stay in
Get things done

Had a rather good Kickstarter deliver today :D

Mantics "Terrain Crate" has arrived about six weeks late, which is pretty good for a Kickstarter of this size.
I got the "Town" crate which has a huge variety of Tavern, Library, Guardsroom, Blacksmiths etc... scenery. All cast in a plastic similar to some of the harder 1/72 'soft' plastic figures. Very little of my 'crate' has suffered from the warping a few people have complained of.
I've also got the Temple set which was a nice surpise as i'd forgotten I pledged for that! Perfect for some scatter terrain for the Trojan wars :)

I went to Barrage in Stafford on Sunday, a local show with a fantasy/sci-fi bent this year. Despite this I scored 24 Foundry Landsknechts for £16.00; the Warlord Games mixed pikemen they only seem to do at shows to complete the base I have on the go at the mo; a Firtune Teller from Rapier for a camp vignette I plan; and finally, some 3D printed terrain bits - a well, a wall mounted drinking fountain and road signs/traffic lights for our VBCW set up.
There is no point in being stupid if you don't show it!

A really nice aquilla carry case for 50 figures. Its for transporting figures to Briddlington and such for little games where I just need myself and figures. Its likely to mostly contain my Kumbahyah forces.
