878 Vikings looks to be a very good game, as it's based on the 'Invasion of Canada' mechanics. The only thing that stopped me getting it was that effective solo play is very difficult. :(

Just weakened and purchased "Coastal Patrol" from Too Fat Lardies (2011 Summer Special); now trawling (see what I did there?) the interwebby thingummy for 1/600 MGBs, MTBs, S-Boots, E-Boots, Ugg-Boots, tramp steamers, liberty ships, flibberty shippitts, and all sorts of microscopic maritime magnificence. I fear my re-exposure to "Wooden Ships & Iron Men" at the weekend - including a stunning 2-0 victory in a three-on-three action involving a load of 74s - does not bode well for the "no more new projects" promise......

(Seriously, if any of you have some WW2 coastal-type 1/600 or 1/1200 vessels you want to get rid of......I'm here, keeping one eye skywards for the Tat signal!)

Is that why you were banned from the set of Vikings?

Some of them went berserk 🤔
