I think it's meant to be a bayonetting pose, rather than a shooting pose.

These chaps marched of the table on Thursday in time for mini campaign using Laserblade rules. Sadly none of them survived the third scenario.
Methodist Boys FC
Black Swans
The Swans are of course, an allusion to the Wild Geese while it also acknowledges their Antipodean origins. Well it would but half of them are Gurkhas who signed up after some irregularities over the personal effects they were bringing back from Hong Kong. It included far too much gold.

Very nice Buff, they look like a suitably rough bunch.

They will definitely be coming. It must be admitted that the Gurkha figures aren't the prettiest faces in the world.

Never say that to a Ghurka though.
Shiney Cossacks on the bench at the moment just waiting for some varnish.
Been Dettol and paint stripping this afternoon. Pretty much worked my way through the old Citadel and Minifigs fantasy and now onto my Garrison Greeks and Persians. Some of these are really great little figures
