Well that was a pleasant surprise... As mentioned a couple of weeks ago, I'm very impressed with Butler's Printed Models, particularly their deeply esoteric little range of 15mm Cold War Czech/Polish OT-64/SKOT APCs. I dropped them a line last week to enquire if they had any plans for command and anti-tank missile variants and not only were they interested in my suggestions, they immediately went and added three new variants to the range (if anyone's interested they're the SKOT-R2 battalion command vehicle, SKOT-R2M company command vehicle and SKOT-2AM APC with Sagger - all now duly ordered)!

I suppose that's yet another great advantage of printed models, particularly with regard to vehicle models: A few tweaks of an existing model on CAD and you have a new model added to your range for minimal cost. No physical modelling required, no time and expense of mould-making and minimal business risk. If nobody buys it, you've only lost the time you spent tweaking the CAD model.

He was also very receptive to the idea of vehicles for the Dutch East Indies (Vickers 'Dutchman' Light Tank, Marmon-Herrington Light Tanks, Bantam Blitzbuggy, Overvalwagens, Chevy truck with Colt .50 AAMG)... Fingers crossed...

Yeah, I just noticed the AMX-13s (all types, plus optional SS-11 launcher-boxes), AMX-VCI APC, AMX-VTT TOW, AMX-13 DCA AA Tank and AMX-10 RC Armoured Car all pop up on their website today! :)

When I get around to doing the Plucky Little Belgians, I'll ask them to do the AMX-VTT with LMG turret if they haven't already done it by then.

I saw, thanks Buff. And am now three units of a Cavaliers and 250 round bases poorer. I have a rather large re-basing exercise coming up so the timing was fortuitous.
