Currently taking a break from painting Napoleonics after being finished off by those Cuirassiers- I'm now doing some Italian wars Landsknecht

Because they're so much simpler to paint, being a uniformly drab colour?

Nah because they don't have miles if friggin lace and piping on everything, have no equipment and none of those efffin horrid white straps that seem to hold every Napoleonic infantryman together

Therein lies the only appeal of Biblicals. Find a flesh tone that you can live with, dark hair, loin cloth, pointy stick. Add a wash and the jobs done.
