Aircraft recognition DVD
"Aircraft Recognition for Royal Navy Gunners (1940)" - actual training films as shown to trainee gunners in the vain hope that they will only fire at enemy aircraft. Still in wrapper - £16.95 new, yours for £6 including P&P.

Re: Aircraft recognition DVD
One RAF Regiment Rapier operator in Germany explained their simplified system to me, "If it's coming from the East it gets shot down."
This was based on the notion that our own stuff was unlikely to be making a return trip.

Indeed. One of the BAe sales staff (all ex-FAA/RAF) explained that becoming an ace would be unofficially elevated from shooting down five enemy aircraft to actually returning from one mission.
