This clearing out thing always ends up with you sitting on the floor, looking at all the stuff you’ve bought, remembering the stuff you’d forgotten you’d bought, coming up with new ideas for all of it and realizing you can’t possibly get rid of any of it.

And that you don't have enough XX for a real army and ordering two more brigades, some supporting light cavalry, a bit more heavies for the reserve and some artillery of position. And an engineer train, and a siege battery. And as there is not point in having the last two without some fortifications, a star fort.

I’ve already experienced that - not to ‘star fort’ extremes, but the realisation that I “need” ACW cavalry, and these WWII jerries could do with some bits & bobs.

And a Siegfried line.
Bits of which could be used for The Atlantic wall

Hire a trailer, bring it all to Ayton and we can sort it out. If you're lucky Peeler will let you buy some of it back.

Oh no, I don’t like this idea at all.

You need to address this as a Wargamer.
The soldiers take precedent and then the rest of your house should fit around them.

I tend to agree.. hire a storage unit. Put all the unnecessary house stuff in there (sofa, tv,washing machine, dog, sewing stash etc). Then you've got lots of clear rooms to sort your soldiers out in.
