Re: WW2 Weekend - 8th June 2019
And how big a table will it take to accommodate your big CoC?
Re: WW2 Weekend - 8th June 2019
Depends on the participants.
We’ve booked the community hall of the fire station which has about a 7x5 table available. At this stage, unless we get more interest, I could stage it in my dining room on my 6x4.
We’ll see how it goes

6X4! My CoC would flop all over that!
Re: WW2 Weekend - 8th June 2019
Hauptmann Ziegemajor eyed the town of Bouzillé through his binoculars. His orders were to take the town, but something just didn't feel right. It was just too quiet. The British were here... somewhere. He could almost smell them....
'I tell you Old Boy, they're out there somewhere. There's no way Jerry would just let us advance into this quaint little village unopposed. Oh well, nothing to be done about it eh? Time for a snifter and a bacon butty Perkins?' declared Captain 'Chavvo' Chavrovski, commander of the 2nd company of the Royal Essex Light Cavaliers.
So the scene is set.....

Wait, what?
Are people not - how can I put this - eager for CoC?
I’m gagging for it!
I’m totally Frenched up and everything. (Even though these rules cruelly neuter the splendid V-B grenade launcher!)
If we’ve got a preponderance of allies, I’m happy enough to be Vichy. (See: French mindset already!)
Do we need to bring terrain?
Re: WW2 Weekend - 8th June 2019
Good to hear you’re keen for the taste of CoC. I have a scenario in mind that unfortunately doesn’t include French. Is that ok? I had you down for the role as one of the dastardly Hun?Norman D. Landings wrote: ↑Mon Feb 04, 2019 3:06 pmWait, what?

Dammit, I’ve got very little painted up in the way of Krauts. I could crack on and try and rectify that, though?
Also: terrain?
Also: terrain?
Re: WW2 Weekend - 8th June 2019
Actually Norm, all we require is your charming self! We have all the figures and terrain we need I think, it's really just an excuse to get us all together, play a game and have a meal and a drink without the Aytonesque type pressure of having to paint an army in order tp achieve this!
