Valleyboy's SYW Figures

Post by valleyboy »

've made a start on the Austrians
2 battalions on the blog
Crusader figures but painted in the 1757 uniform with white turnbacks and waistcoat http://www.kronoskaf.com/syw/index.php? ... r_Infantry
On reflection I think that the 1762 version is likely to look better as there is more of the facing colour evident

When I started doing my 15mm Austrians I had the same dilemma VB. I chose the 1757 pattern regulations so as to cover the earlier battles & in the assumption that the 1762 set wouldn't necessarily be universally adopted immediately.

as pointed out by Brendan I've got these mixed up
The 1757 variation has more colour not the 1762 version
I am senile - I rest my case
