Clearly you are SFAO (suffering from acronym overload).

Oh no, FLOWIAPs are First Level Over Wing Internal Analog Ports. The first four weeks of the Tornado maintenance course was spent learning new acronyms. Only then could you learn how to fix the bloody things.

Re: What's on your workbench?
On a completely true story, I once did a joint service training course that made use of a relational database called Ingres. At a previous course an army warrant officer asked the question, "This INGRES, what does it stand for"? The honest answer was that it didn't stand for anything, the authors had used a picture by Jean Auguste Dominique Ingres on the packaging and chose to honour him by using his name for the product.
You can't fob off a warrant officer who has an opinion so easily so in the end the civilian instructors had to make up something to satisfy him.

You mean he was a Pongo who wouldn't trust a Crab? Sounds fair enough.......

Well if his inter service usually meant Rock Apes and Snowdrops, I am not surprised.

I've just stripped the last bits of paint from my final Centurion, in this heat it dried off in no time so I'm just about to prime it.
