Thanks gents. I'm actually liking this scale enough to abandon my GNW plans in 18mm (only one BN painted so far) and do it properly as a COTOTs project. Thinking I like the 3 rank version of the template for the Swedes:

I believe that Swedish uniforms hardly changed between the WSS and SYW, so you could easily use the same figures - not sure about formations though (I'm assuming they dropped the pike and you kept them on separate bases anyway).

The swedes were in the wss, you mean all that gold and diplomacy by marlborough was wasted? Or did you mean gnw?

There is something very pleasing to the eye with three deep bases. Given my time again, I think I would go down that road with my 20mm LoA/WSS stuff.

Shame you're not doing GNW in 18mm. I have a load of Andy's Blue Moon figures I could have sold you......heavily reduced. Doh!
