Myself and Simon had been chatting weeks ago about setting up a blog/website to document the Ayton games, all in one place. Not sure how viable catching up on 9 years is but the main focus was to be this years game(s) as they were something special. However, life got in the way of plans to do lots of work in progress type posts but I think it's worth getting a good writeup of this years games. We'd quite like everyone who took part to contribute in some way but appreciate not everyone has lots of time or the necessary skills to upload stuff to blogs... So... if you think this is a good idea could people submit something along the lines of:
For the AVBCW game:
You force/faction and the logic(?) behind it?
A brief bit of text about how your action went on both days
A few pics if you have them.
The TIm games:
Bit of background to the forces and 'history'
Some pics
AWI game:
I'll do that... but Iain is welcome to write is own version of events which I'll edit to reflect the truth...
You can post some text here to PM me and Simon, same with pictures, or just let us pic some suitable ones and add them.
And it would be nice if Purps and LT could knock together something about all the outstanding terrain they produced, please?
We don't want epic accounts (some people will do their own blog posts for that) but enough to do the games justice. This year was excellent and deserves a proper home and other people to see it.
Can we keep posts on this thread JUST for those taking part and contributing content please? Don't want it to overshadow the excellent galleries and other posts that will appear.

Sort of related so i'll post it here. Remove the post if it's not appropriate.
This is definitely synchronistic On the way home I was thinking about the possibility of using the excellent photos (with credit given of course) to create a photo book to celebrate the first ten years of Ayton.

Sounds like a great idea, I have loads and if someone is prepared to select some good ones , then that would be terrific record of all the excellent work that people have put into the games over the years.Paul wrote: ↑Mon May 06, 2019 4:06 pm Sort of related so i'll post it here. I’ll have a go, once I’ve solved my photo-posting issue.
Just one thought, does it have to be hosted separately? It possibly drags attention away from the forum - although..........hmmm

There may be kids whose parents won't let them read the forum, but then they will probably find Purps' homoerotic figures a little passe.
