I've just doubled the size of my VBCW air component with a Gloster Gladiator. State of the art stuff with an enclosed canopy don'tcherno. This monoplane stuff that the Boche are showing off in Spain will never catch on.

You might need more guns for that single head on pass that the Gladiator gets against monoplane bombers.

I was tempted to do a Mk 1 Hurricane with a two bladed prop. I did find out a few odd Hurricane facts. Yugoslavia made some under licence and realised that the coming war might make Merlin engines hard to come by they trialled one with a Daimler Benz engine. The Belgians built three with 4 13.5mm machine guns instead of 8 Brownings.

Not sure, but the 2 junkers were designed with it in mind.

Also remember the Gladiator and the Hurricane were both adopted as stopgap improvements until enough of the Interceptor they wanted were available. The first to give the raf a high altitude interceptor, the second to share some parts with the Fury it was replacing and give them an all round monoplane fighter.
