What are people buying?
Re: What are people buying?
I've asked for another Dremel for Christmas. One for the 'office' in the house and one for the shed. I've got no chance that Debbie will buy it but it's a nice idea. I'll enjoy the socks almost as much.

Have a chat with Goat Major. He has been successfully juggling two Dremels for a while now - Mrs GM still has no idea.

just to be clear - thats two airbrushes. No wargamer in their right mind would own more than zero Dremels

Re: What are people buying?
My Mrs was asking what I wanted for Christmas. What an excellent idea.
I have heard good things about the Proxxon FBS240/E. Although hot Proxxon action does not have the right ring about it.
So what else is on your Santa list ?
I hear Peelers getting a fridge magnet diary so he can make sure he does not miss anything next year.

Re: What are people buying?
I too heard good things about the Proxxon, in fact I can't remember why I eventually went for the Dremel. If D doesn't get me the Dremel for Christmas I may well get the Proxxon for myself. The advantage is that there's a foot operated on/off switch (which, I think, also adjusts the speed - don't quote me). Ah, I remember, the upright stand for the Proxxon was expensive and looked like a lump of 1930s ironwork.Ilkley Old School wrote: ↑Thu Nov 30, 2017 1:01 pmMy Mrs was asking what I wanted for Christmas. Bits and bobs on my list apart from that. I've pretty much got everything I want......a bigger pension would be nice, but I'd only fritter it away.
