I want to buy Warlords SPQR and I hate myself for that. The game actually looks pretty good fun. I'm hoping they'll sell the rules separate. Especially since LT sent me some nice Romans I can individually base.

Hardly bought anything at Driffield just some 20mm Colonial Figures from Newline as an experiment and some mdf buildings they were selling off for 50p each, built but needing a bit of tlc and a paint job. Could have bought tons of scenery cheap but next scenery purchase will be a desert mat from gamesmat.eu

Big in the early 80s, IIRC; did a few collaborations with Bananarama (although oddly, "Our lips are sealed" wasn't one of them - I guess it would have made sex a bit uncomfortable).

most of its customers are too young to know what the owner was referencing when he named the shop.

Our Lips are Sealed was from the second album where they had moved on from the Banarama collaboration

Following the last conflict in Kumbayah the transitional government is reaping the rewards of its association with MMS. The president now has a shiny new Learjet coming.

I have finally given in to the demon whispering in my ear (think Tom and Jerry for those old enough to remember) and acquired some Jacklex 20mm ACW figures. They should be arriving in the next couple of days.

These figures will soon be available from Mark Lodge who has acquired the rights from Peter Johnstone.

Mark is planning to expand the ACW range by adding new figures such as Zoavues and Iron Brigade and extra command and standard bearers.

I am going to give these the classic treatment. I will post pictures as soon as I paint up a few.
