This week I have mostly been buying industrial quantities of polystyrene to turn into terrain boards.

Good stuff, extruded or expanded (ie insulation 'foam' or packaging type)?

Expanded of a hi-density type suitable for carving. I found a manufacturer that will cut to size and in various thicknesses for a reasonable price.

I might be able to sort out a Sharp Practice 1745 kerfuffle for Deep Fried Lard day next year 8-)
I get lockdown, but I get up again.

More Foundry War of 1812 figures arrived yesterday: US Regular and Volunteer Infantry in the main and some Canadian Militia in round hats.
There is no point in being stupid if you don't show it!

A hair dryer. Yesterday’s Masterclass showed me just how useful (and indeed for some techniques, indispensable) one is. And today some oil paints. I stopped using them over 25 years ago, but they really can provide some great effects.

They are great for horses.

Citadel Six just sent me, in about 24 hours, some shield and flag sheets for rebel barons in the First Barons War. Now all I need is the figures - hurry up September 15th!

I know what you mean, I really shouldn't buy more 'early/mid' Medievals but they are soooo shiny!
