Generally considered a bit of a disaster for the CSA....

:hair: Of course it was...

But, would otherwise be interested to hear thoughts on comparison of Dave Brown's rules and F&F.

Not really in a position to compare - I've played PC about 3 times and enjoyed them - they are very much like the GdeA engine - I never played F&F- I could never get through a read of the rules

Likewise, well, almost, I can't help. I've played BF&F many times but haven't yet taken my copy of P'sC of the shelf.

I know F&F to be a clever but basically very simple system, and I bought Mr Brown's rules because I understood them to be the same, i.e. simple and clever.

There's a whole section on basing to accompany these images.

They look spot on. Look forward to seeing more.

I've played the guys down my club with my 1" and their 30mm and it worked fine.

The painting is gorgeous, as usual, but I hope you don't mind me saying that the three figure base is a little empty for my taste.

I see what you mean Iain. I hope to address this with some strategically placed tufts when I get round to the basing.

I'll do some rank and file infantry next. Shouldn't take too long.

That's very reassuring.
