Re: New Year Wargame Plans
Did someone mention my name?
All the best boys. I hope the new project(s) go well and your paint brush never droops.
Are they still in the plain brown wrapping?levied troop wrote: ↑Tue Dec 19, 2017 8:34 am... and that nice Mr Vexillia is my supplier for the 15mm hard stuff from Italy and there’s a nice package under my Christmas twig. So that will be definitely started in 2018.
Glad you like them.

Re: New Year Wargame Plans
I have no plans as usual just a jumble of ideas. So xmas break will be Kanban Break!
- 42mm forces - enough for a mid-sized battle of British/Russians plus a smattering of scenery
- Some stuff for Ayton. Not much just some command/civilian types
- Get some of my old school fantasy stuff painted
- Finish off the 40k army
- scenery for frostgrave, india-maginations, kung fu and ww2
- either WW2 desert or ancients (sassanid/parthian style). One or the other in 6mm
- finish my guilford courthouse project.
Need to play
- oldhammer/dragon rampant
- C&C napoleonics & awi
- DBN using my troops that i finished a year ago
- 18th C campaign stuff
- toy soldiers

Re: New Year Wargame Plans
I'm going to read newspaper articles in more depth & paint some figures.
Re: New Year Wargame Plans
I'll add to my list 42mm Shinny Toy Soldiers. A batch of Highlanders is on the desk at the minute. I was keeping it quiet until Mr H. opened his Christmas present. I sent him some home service types to provoke him into doing the Durhams in 42mm.
42mm Ayton 2019 anyone?

42mm is where all the cool kids are at
Im adding to my list. Sometime in 2018 I’m going to do something RPG related - not sure whether to play, GM, attend an event but something. Any system. My suppressed RPG memories have been rekindled this year by the excellent Grognard Files podcast ( https://armchairadventurerblog.com ) and the rediscovery of my RPG stash when I cleaned the loft out
