He’s just ‘unleashing his potential’ :o

I’ve started looking at painting my 40mm French Voltigeurs over Christmas, got the box out, started looking at uniform details, put 3 of the undercoated figures on the table. That’s now the 4th period I’ve contemplated attacking over Christmas - butterflies have a better focus :wall:

Hah, my painting table has:

3 28mm morokanth
1 28mm cowboy
24 28mm macedonian pikemen
1 28mm duck
1 28mm feline pirate
4 28mm tomb kings chariots, in stages of assembly
2 6mm indian elephants
6 28mm wss austrian grenadiers.
6 28mm cossacks.

And you complain about focus!

So.....er.....I had this idea......I mean, I’ve got all that Grand Manor Peninsula resin I’d been using for Garibaldi.......and, er........it seemed a pity to restrict it to that and it was intended for the Peninsula originally, shame not to use it as Dave Bodley intended.......and I remember these photos of Perry 40mm with it and, I mean, they are big buildings and do fit 40mm and......um....those Perry’s 40mm are very nice ....... and I don’t need many of them, say 6 a side for 1:1 skirmish.....and maybe 2 sides - French, British - is only 12 figures...... ok, 3 sides if I include Guerillas....and they do nice casualty figures so I could have a casualty for each man, so 36 figures, Max....honest...and I am reusing terrain so it does work out more cost efficient. Obs really ;)
